Job Opportunity: Permitting Officer
 

Location: St Albans (Potential for remote/home working)
 

What You’ll Be Doing:
 

• Liaising with councils and clients to book works and organise permits;
• Raise permit applications based on work descriptions for submission to the Highways Authority.
• Keep all permits and notices updated
• Ensure works are on track, and request extensions if needed.
• Liaise with Project Managers and Supervisors to manage road space bookings efficiently.
• Build and nurture relationships with Local Authorities and other stakeholders.

• Desirable: Experience/proven track record in the highways industry working with councils.
